Downtown St. George Restaurants
Downtown St. George Restaurants are among many beautiful historic buildings. Along with the St. George Utah Tabernacle, the Woodward school building and Judd’s General Store, which opened in 1911, also being a part of the Green Gate Village Historic Inn, a collection of eight homes built by pioneer settlers.

From the black and white checkered tablecloths to the molded-panel ceiling in Thomas Judd’s Store, you will find many baskets filled with a variety of vintage candies lining the shelves, including old fashioned glass bottles of soda pop.
Candy
From rock candy to Bazooka gum and Razzles to Big League Chew, there is a treat for everyone. Current modern candies, such as Skittles and Reese’s peanut butter cups are also available. If you want to find sweets that recall childhood memories Judd’s General Store is one of the first downtown St. George restaurants you should visit.
Lunch
Judd’s also has delicious soup and breadsticks, and other delicious options to choose from on their menu. Now sit back, enjoy and listen to some great oldies and soak in the nostalgic atmosphere. Ice cream is also on the menu here!

Afterwards
After you’ve finished eating at Judd’s, wander across the street to the Tabernacle and Town Square Park where there’s a splash pad, carousel, and grassy lawn. Head up Main Street and browse through the antique stores and art galleries like Annie’s Vintage Garden and Nathan Wotkyn’s fine art. Twentyfive Main, most chic of the downtown St. George restaurants
Adam and Jason Legg, owners and brothers, have been in St. George Utah for over 20 years. They wanted to offer St. George a place to celebrate food, art, music, family and friends, a delicious menu, chic décor, and great service. Serving customers since 2008. Family owned and operated, Twentyfive Main is a gourmet café & cupcake parlor. Located on Main Street in Historic Downtown St. George, UT, this is one of the downtown St George restaurants that makes “everything made from scratch” and has a relaxing atmosphere. Their cupcakes are delicious and the art and live music make it a local hotspot. Highlighting art from local artists and most Friday nights local musicians perform on Main Street. This local hipsters’ café, chic décor and the ambiance is just what you’d expect. Come in for the locally grown coffee, full breakfast, lunch, dinner menu, or gourmet cupcakes. Bear Paw Café
Established in 1997 by the Pizzuto family who still owns it today, Bear Paw Café is the only one of the St. George downtown restaurants that serves delicious breakfast items all day. St. George Magazine voted this downtown St. George restaurants Best Breakfast in Town in 2008 and 2009. Menu items include smoothies, Allegro coffee, teas, salads, sandwiches and of course many breakfast entrees, including omelets, crepes, waffles, pancakes and more! Open 365 days a year!

Cappeletti’s
Italian Downtown St George Restaurants
Most downtown St. George Restaurants are family owned and operated. Cappeletti’s is no different. Andres and Lorena Cappeletti and their three children Facundo, Matteo, and Lara opened Cappeletti’s in 2010. Andres and Lorena have both been cooking since childhood. They continue to create delicious sauces and homemade pastas. Andres prepares every meal with the passion for cooking he received from his mother, Emilia. Being taught as a child by his mother, this passion grew and the amazing food he creates is the result of his love for good food. One of the favorite dishes is named after his mother, Emilia’s Aglio Chicken. This downtown St. George restaurant offers Italian cooking with an Argentine flair.

George’s Corner Restaurant & Pub
George’s Corner Restaurant and Pub is arguably the oldest of the downtown St. George restaurants. Originally called the Big Hand Café, George Pace owned and operated it in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Located in the center of St. George Utah, this became a gathering place where news was shared. The only stop light in town was on the corner where the café sat. Tourist buses would stop there to feed the hungry passengers. One of the first buildings to be air-cooled, which was very desirable during the hot summer months.

Benja’s Thai Garden & Sushi
Downtown St George Utah Restaurants
Of all the downtown St. George restaurants, Benja’s is the only that offers a great Sushi Bar, spicy Drunken Noodles, Thai Duck, whole fish, teriyaki chicken and more delicious Thai foods. This is Joel’s favorite downtown restaurant. He admits when he senses a cold coming on, he goes in for some spicy green curry, which knocks it out completely.
